Gifted with photographic memory, Leland is able to capture details with accuracy and then renders them in his definitive style of bold outlines and vivid colours. Often described as “a dazzling burst of colours”, his colour palettes are derivations from the positive outlook from his personal life.

Accentuated with gold and silver lines, the subjects in his pieces are narratives that offer the viewers a peek into the vibrancy of Leland’s life filled with limitless love and support. The visual contrasts are apparent, and it is only vital that it is so as it creates a literal yet refreshing portrayal of a person who dares to live his best.
