Bank Art Fair 2020

Pan Pacific Hotel Singapore will play host to the 6th instalment of the Singapore Bank Art Fair. Gracing the hotel grounds from 10th till 13th September 2020, the upcoming art fair aims to offer a dazzling display of artworks while creating a sense of opulence that is synonymous with Pan Pacific Hotel Singapore.

From prospective buyers to art lovers, everyone can expect to experience the harmonious blend of Pan Pacific Hotel’s 5-star ambience with the dynamic offerings of participating galleries. Contrary to conventional white-cube display of artworks that can be found in Singapore’s art districts, the use of hotel rooms as galleries by the Bank Art Fair is a fresh take on how art can be exhibited. Inspiration is the name of the game as artworks are organically arranged in the hotel rooms amidst their furnishings, giving potential buyers a sense of how art may be incorporated into their personal living spaces.

In line with its past provisions of paintings and sculptures brought by about 60 participating galleries from 15 countries during the 2019 edition, the upcoming instalment will undoubtedly cater to the diverse palates of attendees with at least 75 galleries from 19 countries. The stage is set to showcase young talents and bridge the gap between artists and art collectors regardless of their years in this field. A star-studded line up can be expected; one of South Korea’s prominent artists, Nancy Lang, will be making a recurrent appearance in this year’s Singapore Bank Art Fair.

The organisers spared no effort to formally invite art collectors whose passion for collecting art are rivalled only by their appreciation towards art. Including previous patrons from the 2019 Singapore Bank Art Fair, VIPs are given first picks before the doors are open to the public.
